Wooden Carports for Heerderstrand

By signing the cooperation agreement between Leisurelands and Solar Green Point the first step towards the realization of a solar park on the parking lot of recreation area Heerderstrand has been made. We are proud to announce that Sunprojects will be the designer & constructor of this solar park. 

On the parking lot of the Heerderstrand, 500 carports will be built which will be covered with 7.500 solar panels. These will generate more than 2,552,000 kWh of sustainable energy for the local area. With the arrival of the carports it will soon be possible to park cars in the shade and charge them with green energy. In addition, the carports have an aesthetic value and the wooden carports blend in well with the wooded surroundings.
