Solar park Eerbeek - 6,1MWp

There are many more issues involved in developing and installing a solar farm on a former landfill than on a piece of property. Long-term stability of the whole is one of the main concerns. Especially in the engineering phase, the pressure, weight, continuous settlement and the permissible depth of the mounting system in the landfill are important criteria.

From the point of view of dual land use, this application is seen as very positive by all those involved and fits in perfectly with the climate objectives. Developer Solar Green Point and the local cooperative Brummen Energie are therefore very satisfied with Zonnepark Eerbeek BV.

In total over 15,000 solar panels have been installed, which will generate the annual electricity consumption of over 2,100 Dutch households.

We look back on a successful project, in which a 'garbage heap' is converted into a production unit of sustainable energy.
