Wijnjewoude - 1,0 MWp
Solar panels are a popular way to generate renewable energy. Vacant fields with no zoning can be good fixtures for solar panels. Fields are often large and flat, which makes it easy to install solar panels. In addition, they are often surfaces located in areas with a lot of sunlight. This means they have a high reasonement, especially if the panels are placed at the ideal angle of inclination, as in Wijnjewoude.
In this way, an empty field has been converted into a sustainable power plant without any fill-in. A total of 1628 solar panels have been installed with a total installed capacity of 962 kWp. The output is approximately equal to the annual energy consumption of 334 Dutch households. In addition, 625,000kg of CO² emissions are avoided annually.
