SPAR Holding - 1,6 MWp

A better world in which people and nature can live on sustainably. That is what they take steps towards at Spar Holding B.V. on a daily basis. SPAR ensures that the impact on the environment with its stores and logistics process is as minimal as possible. In addition to all the smart energy-saving measures organized in the headquarters and distribution center, they wanted to go even further to become more sustainable.

To this end, SPAR teamed up with Sunrock to have solar panels installed on its distribution center. In cooperation with Sunrock, Sunprojects was able to provide the roof with over 4,100 solar panels. The annual energy output of this installation will be approximately 1,584,000 kWh. To compare: This could provide 576 Dutch households with electricity every year!
