We are pleased to share our most recent solar panel project at a Dairy Farm in South Holland. A total of six different roofs have been fitted with over 3,000 solar panels. What makes this project special is that everything has beenëngineered as carefully as possible to achieve the maximum energy yield per roof.
The green energy is cleverly used: the solar power is used to collect milk from the cows. In addition, smart robots that bring the cows' feed into place are charged in an environmentally friendly way. The result? The entire farm is now energy-neutral!
Sunprojects looks back on a successful project and we are thrilled to see how sustainable energy solutions are further transforming the agricultural sector! The output of this installation is equivalent to the annual energy consumption of 456 Dutch households. It also avoids 832,000 kg of CO2 emissions per year.
