Magna Tyres Group - 5,3 MWp

Magna Tyres Group sustainable even further! The  Magna Tyres Group in Waalwijk, a manufacturer of off-the-road tires for earth-moving and mining, among other applications, moved into a new 58,000 m² distribution center two years ago. To achieve even lower energy consumption, it was decided to use 2,200 solar panels for its own use. In consultation with Sunrock, Magna Tyres Group chose to add additional solar panels to the remaining roof section.

In cooperation with Sunrock, Sunprojects was able to provide the roof with over 11,400 additional solar panels. These will provide approximately 5,300,000 kWh of renewable energy per year. This is approximately equal to the annual energy consumption of 1,843 Dutch households.
